Hi there!
If you haven’t guessed by now, I’m Megan.
I’ve always toyed with the idea of starting a blog but never deemed myself creative enough to do it. However, one cold night of October I came to a come to Jesus moment at around 3:00am that I was going to start a blog. Alas, my journey begins.
I was born and raised in Mequon, Wisconsin, a suburb a couple miles north of Milwaukee. Okay I know what you’re thinking. Wisconsin seems so boring and so lame, hence everyone from there is boring and lame. Well, I’ve got news for you…Wisconsin is awesome! I would not trade growing up there for anything in the world. Summers are hot, winters are cold, cheese is everywhere, life is good! However, in the fall of 2017 I decided to make the big move down to the great state of Texas. Currently, I am a sophomore at Southern Methodist University. I love my life here and I love my friends. The better weather doesn’t hurt either, as if you know me, you know I am a wuss and hate being cold.
My family and friends mean everything to me. I have two siblings, Miko and Nikki, and despite them driving me crazy when I am home for long periods of times, I love them more than I can explain. My mom, Connie, is my best friend and I know I will definitely be writing about her a lot throughout my blog as she is a huge influence in my life. My dad tries to embarrass me in anyway he can and has a cargo short addiction that we working on. Hey, maybe he can take a look at my fashion page and get some insight!
With all this being said, welcome to my blog. I am so excited to share my experiences with y’all (thank you Texas for that word I swore I’d never say). I’m excited to show you that a girl from suburb of Wisconsin is anything but boring and lame.
